Join us in a Jazz Age celebration for a Jazz Age Library. This is our kickoff event for our 100th anniversary celebration at the Harwich Port Library. And we are deeply honored, and humbled, to welcome author Larry Tye in conversation with Wayne Naus to talk about his latest book, The Jazzmen: How Duke Ellington, Louis Armstrong, and Count Basie Transformed America. Live music with the Art Ensemble of Cape Cod Jazz Trio showcasing the songs and sounds of these giants of American music will come before and after the talk, and a book signing and meet & greet will follow, with books provided by Reed Books in Harwich Port.
